Mckayla's Birthday Celebration

Hello Everyone! I'm sorry this is so late, but it's better late than never right?! Well it's been pretty hectic around here and it's only going to get crazier, so while I have some down time I'm going to chat about Mckayla's Birthday.

Mckayla turned a year old on November 21st at 7:01pm. Here's what she was doing at that exact moment.
Once the princess awoke, she was very excited to see this on the wall!
Now let me fill you in on the reason we took this next picture. Mckayla's great grandma (GG) sent her a card with a picture of her grandpa (Papa) in this same pose, so we felt it only necessary to carry on the tradition!

Mckayla was very ready to open up some of her presents. The following shots were all taken on the 21st and are girfts from Nana (my mom). We decided to let her open up these ones on her birthday and the rest would wake until the next day when we got to Zims!

After she finished opening and testing out her wonderful new toys, she was more than ready to dig into her cake! Here is a before picture with the three of us!

However this next photo is the only one I took since I thought it would be better to video tape her enjoying her treat! (Trust me, she did!)
These next pictures were taken on the 22nd and are shot at Zims Hot Springs. However, since it was so cold out, we decided not to make anyone stand outside of the pool to take pictures, so all we have are pictures of her opening presents. These presents were from the Tosten's (my best friend Camille's family.)
After such a celebration we were ready to get home and relax!
Man did it feel good to stretch out! Well we hope you have as much fun looking at this as we did living it! Thanks for stopping by!
Love Jay, Rebecca, and of course Mckayla!
